Rev. Anandbabu Ravuri – Founder and President of Christian Living Ministries India.
Christian Living Ministries India was established in 2001 by Rev. Anandbabu Ravuri, a man of faith deeply called by God to serve the spiritually needy in India. Operating from the small town of Tenali, located in the Andhra Pradesh state, Rev. Anand’s ministry has expanded its reach to nearly 60 villages in the surrounding areas. With a heart filled with passion for the Gospel and a vision to see the lost saved, the ministry continues to impact thousands of lives, bringing the light of Jesus Christ to those living in spiritual darkness.
Rev. Anandbabu Ravuri – A Life of Faith and Service
Rev. Anandbabu Ravuri was born into a humble Christian farming family. His parents, Ruben and Mary, are devout Christians who exemplified obedience to God and were committed to living out their faith in every aspect of their lives. Growing up in such a nurturing Christian environment, Rev. Anand was inspired to follow the Lord’s call early in his life. His father, Ruben, was also involved in Christian works and ministry, setting an example for him to follow. The faith and values instilled by his parents were crucial in shaping Rev. Anand’s life and his decision to commit his life to serving God and His people.
Rev. Anand's Journey to Ministry
From a young age, Rev. Anand experienced God’s calling, leading him to pursue theological education. He completed his Bachelor of Theology (BTh) and was further equipped to serve as a pastor and leader. His heart’s desire is to see the Gospel reach every corner of India, especially in the rural and unreached regions, where spiritual darkness prevails.
A Leap of Faith
Interestingly, Rev. Anand’s journey to ministry wasn’t straightforward. Initially, he pursued technical education and secured a job in a reputable company in 1999. However, when God’s call for ministry became clear, he didn’t hesitate. Inspired by the example of Peter, who immediately left his fishing nets to follow Jesus and become a “fisher of men,” (Matthew 4:18-20) Rev. Anand also left his comfortable job to follow God’s calling.

Preaching the Word of God in unreached areas of India.
Building up the Church
Showing compassion to the poor, orphans, widows, elderly poeple and those in need.
His commitment to spreading the Gospel and serving the marginalized reflects his deep obedience to God’s call.
A Blessed Family Dedicated to Ministry
Rev. Anand’s ministry is supported by his beloved family, who share in the vision and passion for serving God. His wife, Evangeline Suji Ravuri, is a vital part of the ministry. She is an anointed leader, known for her deep faith and spiritual gifts. Evangeline leads women’s conferences, worship services, and various key ministry activities, and has been a pillar of support for her husband throughout their ministry journey. Together, they create a dynamic and powerful team, serving the Lord with their whole hearts.
Their children, Shane and Kaylynn, are also actively involved in the ministry. As a family, they serve the poor, help in outreach programs, and take part in the day-to-day work of Christian Living Ministries. Their commitment to God’s work demonstrates the generational impact of faith, as they continue to spread the love and message of Jesus Christ in their community and beyond.
The Ravuri family is a living example of a godly, passionate, and burdensome Christian family. Their hearts are filled with compassion for the lost, and their desire is to see more people come to Christ.
